The IDI Group Companies of Arlington have announced the completion of their first 402-apartment luxury building at Rivergate, located on the Occoquan River next to the Occoquan Harbor Marina in northern Prince William County.  Leasing has now begun on the one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, which range from $1,680-$2,685 a month and offer a host of unique amenities and conveniences.

“Rivergate represents the essence of our corporate motto of ‘developing better environments for people,’ and residents are going to benefit from that on a daily basis,” said Carlos Cecchi, the IDI Managing Director who is Project Manager for Rivergate.  “It starts with picking a spectacular and centrally located riverfront location.  It underlies the modern style and functionality of the apartments themselves, and the social opportunities of multiple indoor and outdoor lounges at the pool and on the roof.  It’s in the convenience of the onsite health and fitness center and pet spa, and in the fun of playing sand volleyball. And the full-service Occoquan Harbor Marina right next door offers direct access to the river for kayaking, canoeing, jet skis or boat slip rentals,” he observed.

The array of onsite amenities at Rivergate is impressive and includes: two spacious resident lounges with TVs, pool table, bar and kitchen; state-of-the-art fitness center with cardio and weight-training equipment plus Wellbeats™ virtual fitness classes; fully equipped business center and conference room for resident use; community pet salon; landscaped outdoor spaces including a spectacular pool and courtyard, sand volleyball court, grilling stations, firepit and outdoor bar; rooftop terrace with cabanas and bar; and a multi-level parking garage with direct access to every floor. Residents will be able to rent kayaks and canoes on-site also.

Individual Rivergate apartments feature a variety of appealing floor plans, according to Fawna Ruley of McLean-based Kettler Management, who is overseeing leasing and property management at the community.  “Now that the building is finished and visitors can see everything it offers for themselves, people are so excited about what their life can be like here,” she said. The first residents began to move into Rivergate this past December. All Rivergate apartments include spacious open kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, and many offer views of the Occoquan River or one of the amenity courtyards, with most apartments offering balconies as well.

Rivergate is just east of the charming shops and restaurants of historic Occoquan and a quick drive to the regional shopping destinations of Potomac Mills and Stone Bridge at Potomac Town Center.  Commuters will also appreciate its easy access onto the I-95 HOT lanes, the Woodbridge commuter parking lot and the Woodbridge VRE Train station.

Rivergate was designed by Heffner Architects of Alexandria.  John A. Moriarty & Associates of Arlington is the general contractor.  Construction financing has been provided by Centennial Bank and Basis Investment Group.
