On Tuesday April 11th 2017, Heritage Brewing Co. quietly opened the doors to its first brewpub and roastery situated in the Clarendon district of Arlington, Va.
Over the last three months ,the Heritage Brewing crew has hand built the interior of their location into a unique industrial rustic Americana setting. Situated on N. Fillmore street across from Whitlow’s on Wilson, the brewpub and roastery is open seven days a week from 11:00 a. m. to 2:00 a. m. weekdays, and 10:00 a. m. to 2:00 a. m. weekends. The space seats approximately 70 people, and offers lunch and dinner service.
Boasting a total of twenty two taps with a wide variety of their own freshly crafted ales, their offerings range from sours to barleywines, either brewed on site, or brought over from their flagship brewery in Manassas. A single tap is dedicated to featured local breweries and collaborations. Additionally, the Heritage Brewing Market Common brewpub maintains a cellar consisting of their own barrel-aged, limited release, and sour bottled beers. All of which are available in house, and to-go, along with six packs, and freshly-filled crowlers. They also have craft sodas on tap.
The restaurant’s contemporary menu is built from scratch by renowned NYC chef Donal Crosbie, the visionary behind Trinity Place, Hudson Hound, and The Bailey. The Market Common kitchen is run by Head chef Josh Ber, an old friend of Crosbie’s. The two met while honing their culinary skills under legendary Chef David Bouley. They have now reunited in Arlington and brought their expertise together in this groundbreaking new brewpub & roastery.
“In our Arlington Brewpub, we have harmoniously blended the experience of finely crafted farm-to-table dining, and our own well loved ales,” says Sean Arroyo, CEO & Co-Founder of Heritage Brewing Co.
Veritas Coffee Co., the Virginia creators of nitrogen infused cold press coffee, will also be presenting its first brick and mortar offerings in partnership with Heritage Brewing Co. They will be providing two dedicated taps of nitro draft coffee, in a traditional bold roast, and a rotating latte. Their coffee is also available in hot pour over, in packaged cans, and beans to-go.
Over the next month, Heritage Brewing Co. will continue to increase their beer, food, and merchandise offerings leading up to their grand opening celebration on May 13th. In honor of this occasion, Heritage Brewing will be providing their largest beer release to date, with multiple releases and the start of two new packaged beer series during the grand opening.
