Two Manassas City police officers received recognition for their innovative approaches to policing by the U.S. Department of Justice during the Attorney General’s Awards in Community Policing during a ceremony in Washington, D.C., on Dec. 4.
This prestigious national recognition from the U.S. Department of Justice showcases their exceptional work and contributions in Innovations in Community Policing.
Both Master Police Officer Thomas Rodriquez and Master Police Officer Shauna Moller of the Manassas City Police Department were recognized by Attorney General Merrick B. Garland during the ceremony.
The award celebrates their outstanding efforts in making the City of Manassas safer and stronger community.
The winners were selected from a nationwide pool of nominees for their outstanding achievements in fostering safer, more inclusive communities.
