Manassas Park Police Department donated 30 bicycles to deserving children this December, with help from Bull Run Bicycles.
The Manassas Park Police Department hopes to make the holidays brighter for city children this year. After acquiring thirty bicycles, some “new in boxes” and others with damage from stockroom storage from a local business that preferred to remain anonymous, Community Resource Officer William “Quiz” Quesenberry contacted Danny Quirk, owner of Bull Run Bicycles, located in Manassas, VA for help in restoring the bicycles to safe and “like-new” condition. Danny was enthusiastic about helping the City of Manassas Park and agreed to assist in reducing the labor and parts charges to the police department.
