Looking to try a new sport that involves the whole family? Look no further than the brand-new dedicated pickleball courts at the A.J.Ferlazzo Building, 15941 Donald Curtis Dr., Woodbridge.
The Woodbridge courts are the first dedicated outdoor pickleball courts north of Fredericksburg, and that is a very big DILL!
Pickleball is an inclusive, accessible, non-elitist sport that rises above all social and economic barriers. Playing styles vary widely, even at the highest levels. Many top players have no past racquet or paddle sport experience.
The pickleball community in Woodbridge is thriving, and the players are always welcoming. Just show up with tennis shoes and a smile, but be forewarned, it is addicting!
The community hosted a three day Pickleball bootcamp Sept. 11,12 and 13 with the #1 female and male Pickleball players in the world, Simone Jardim and Ben Johns. All the participants had a great experience because of our many volunteers who helped make this a great success.
