Shauntel Baldwin, Dale City Elementary School

While she may be new to the principal role, Shauntel Baldwin is no stranger to the Dale City community. Before stepping into this position, she served as an assistant principal at Dale City and spent nearly 10 years as an elementary educator. Those experiences have shaped her understanding of what students need to be successful not only in elementary school, but well beyond it. This year, Baldwin is excited to see students learn, grow, and thrive both academically and socially while continuing to build strong connections with families, staff, and the community. And at Dale City, they’re “Chasing 100!” The school’s motto is about more than a number, it means showing up each day and putting 100% effort into everything you do. For Baldwin, that means creating a school community where students and staff are encouraged to give their best, support one another, and keep growing.
