Rainbow Therapeutic Riding Center will hold a fundraiser concert with Mayer Kirby Mayer Acoustic Group on Sunday, September 18 at 6:30 p. m. at an exciting new venue in Manassas—Uptown Alley (8300 Sudley Road, Manassas.)  The Mayer Kirby Mayer Acoustic Group is comprised of Peter Mayer who is longtime lead guitarist and songwriting collaborator in Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band. He melds influences from jazz, rock and pop and has released a dozen of his own albums. Peter has shared the stage with everyone from Chicago to Joni Mitchell. Brendan Meyer brings his vocal talents to the band. He spent much of 2014 touring with Jimmy Buffett as the guest artist each night. The third band member, Scott Kirby, is a self-taught finger-style acoustic guitarist and songwriter who released eight CDs. When not touring, he regularly performs in Key West.

“We are very excited to be able to hold this unique concert and fundraiser at Uptown Alley,” stated Inga Janke, executive director of the Rainbow Therapeutic Riding Center. “Attendees will not only get to hear great music inspired by Buffett but will also get to see this unique venue before it grand opens to the public.”

The concert takes place at an exciting new venue in Manassas. Uptown Alley brings the best in soundstage acoustics and an intimate setting, as well as 24 state-of-the-art bowling allies, three bars, the Red Embers restaurant, two-story laser tag, a video arcade with more than 50 video prize games and an ultra-lounge with private 10-lane boutique bowling, billiards and comfortable seating—all within 45,000 square feet of fun.

Advance ticket prices are $35 to $150 (bar seating close to the band), and sponsorship packages are available that include VIP access to an after party with food and open bar. Ticket prices are higher at the door. Rainbow Therapeutic Riding Center is a 501(c)3 so tax deductions are allowable within the extent of the law.
