Prince William County women, girls, and families are invited to join Move for Her: A Whole-Body Community Wellness Journey, a free four-week virtual program that supports heart health and overall well-being in an inclusive, supportive environment. Hosted by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Prince William County Chapter (NCBW-PWCC), this wellness journey runs Feb. 1 to 28, 2026. It is open to participants of all ages, fitness levels, and life stages. The program emphasizes “Progress over Perfection,” encouraging individuals to start where they are and move at a pace that feels right.
Move for Her focuses on whole-body wellness through four core pillars:
• Physical movement adaptable to all ability levels
• Heart-healthy nutrition with practical, everyday guidance
• Hydration to support energy and cardiovascular health
• Stress reduction to promote balance, resilience, and emotional well-being
Special emphasis is placed on women and girls of all ages, fostering healthy lifestyle habits and positive relationships that support whole-body wellness. Families are encouraged to participate together, creating a shared wellness experience that promotes health across generations.
A virtual kickoff and program overview will take place on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2026, at 7 p.m., offering an introduction to the wellness journey, simple goal-setting guidance, and an overview of available community support.
Heart disease remains a leading health concern for women and Move for Her offers Prince William County residents a welcoming, noncompetitive opportunity to prioritize wellness in a community-centered way.
Participation is free and open to the community. Register at ncbwpwcc.org.
