This class is taught by Alexa Glomp, who has been dancing since the age of three and singing since the age of six. She began falling in love with musical theater after seeing her first Broadway in Chicago show “West Side Story” in 2009. From here she began to take musical theater dance classes at her hometown studio and joined choir in grade school. Alexa has performed in short clips of “Grease”, “West Side Story”, “Anything Goes”, “Billy Elliot”, “Rich Man’s Frug”, “Hairspray”, and “Once on This Island”, before performing in the full length musical “Kiss Me Kate”. Miss Glomp also had the opportunity to learn about Bob Fosse’s technique while studying for her BFA in Performance and Choreography at the University of Missouri Kansas City. Alexa has worked with inspiring musical theater instructors such as Christina Burton, Michael Blake, Kimberly Scherrer, Nicholas Cunningham, Chesney Lofgren.
