Three-day photo expo features free admission, free vendor demos and free classes for beginning photographers, thanks to partial funding provided by Prince William County. Expo offers 15+ reasonably-priced advanced classes and lectures, including a full-day seminar on Nov. 8 with noted commercial photographer Bryan Peterson, followed by his keynote address on Nov. 9. Hands-on learning includes iPhone photography and shooting raptors (live hawks, owls and falcons) in a natural setting. Space is limited and registration is required. Expo is organized by seven photo clubs in the Mid-Atlantic area: the Loudoun Photography Club, Manassas-Warrenton Camera Club, McLean Photography Club, Northern Virginia Photographic Society, Reston Photographic Society, Vienna Photographic Society and our newest member, the NIH Camera Club. Entrance to exhibit hall, with 325 outstanding nature images for sale by top area photographers, is free. Just 8 minutes from I-66 Exit 44.
