New Eagle Scouts Receive Recognition from Sons of the American Revolution

On March 9, 2022, the Colonel William Grayson Chapter (CWG) of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) presented Eagle Scout Certificates of Recognition and SAR-Scout Partnership patches to the newest Eagle Scouts of Troop 189 (John F Pattie, Sr., PTCO, Montclair) in Prince William County. Colonel William Grayson Chapter President Ross Schwalm delivered remarks at the ceremony that reinforced to the new Eagles their commitment of service to others and the Nation. The Chapter’s Scout Program Chairman, Tim Cline, presented the certificates.The Colonel William Grayson Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution serves Prince William County and western Fairfax County. Membership in the Sons of the American Revolution is open to the lineal descendant of a Revolutionary War soldier, sailor or Patriot. This includes persons who not only fought in the military or militia, but who also may have provided supplies, medical aid, signed oaths of Faith and Fidelity and similar acts.
