New Minority-Owned Veterinary Clinic to Open its Doors in Prince William County

Prince William County is about to welcome a new and exciting addition to its healthcare community. Summit Veterinary Care, a minority-owned and operated veterinary clinic, is set to open its doors and provide top-notch care for pets of the Northern Virginia area.

The clinic, located at 7951 Gainsford Court #115, Bristow, is a dream realized by Dr. Tosha Starke, a highly qualified and passionate veterinarian with over 19 years of experience in the field. Driven by a mission to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and culturally sensitive veterinary care, Dr. Starke is proud to establish a practice that reflects the diversity and inclusivity of Prince William County while improving the quality of life of both pets and the professionals that take care of them.

Summit Veterinary Care is equipped to offer a wide range of services, including but not limited to:

Summit Veterinary Care is scheduled to open its doors to the public on Jan. 2, 2024. Local residents are invited to join the clinic’s grand opening celebration, which will take place from 12 to 4 p.m. on Jan. 6, 2024. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the clinic’s team, tour the state-of-the-art facilities, learn more about the services offered, while enjoying an afternoon of activities and community spirit.

In addition to the grand opening, Summit Veterinary Care is also committed to giving back to the community. Before the clinic opens to the public, they are hosting a Santa Paws Toy and Pet Food drive for local charities, including the Prince William County Animal Shelter. Attendees are encouraged to bring their kids and pets for pictures with Santa and can be entered into an exciting giveaway by donating items to the donation drive. The clinic also has plans to host regular educational workshops and events that promote responsible pet ownership and animal welfare.
