We are asking the wonderful residents of Prince William County to assist us with collecting brand new toys and/or gifts for children in local foster care and adoption agencies for Christmas. Our goal is to provide as many gifts to the beautiful children awaiting the greatest gift of all…family. We are also collecting new journals to provide to the children to encourage the idea of journaling. All donations must be received by 4:00 p. m. on December 14, 2016, for wrapping and distribution.
As we focus on family togetherness and creating memories during this holiday season, Pi Lambda Lambda, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and TGNCK are partnering to provide 50 Prince William County Families with Christmas Holiday Meals, to include a turkey.
The first 50 families and/or individuals to arrive at TGNCK’s office, at 308 Poplar Alley #B, Occoquan, VA 22125, will receive essential holiday meal items. The giveaway will begin at 11:00 a. m. on December 17 and end when the last meal is distributed. All residents of Prince William County are welcome to attend.

The Good News Community Kitchen visualizes citizens, throughout Northern Virginia and the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area, uniting together to develop and mentor Veterans and civilians transitioning back into the workforce, facilitate clothing drives to assist women and men transitioning back into the workforce, distributing hygiene bags and meals-to-go to the hungry, collecting coats and blankets to distribute to the unsheltered and sheltered underserved to keep warm in the winter, providing nutritious emergency meal units to assist families that identify food insecurity and serving warm “family-like” meals to our adopted local housing shelter. Our mission is to rebuild and strengthen communities by fighting hunger one meal at a time. In all that we do, our goal is to add value to the lives of others while emulating our core values: Outreach, Unity, Compassion and Selfless-Service. Throughout the years we will work diligently towards implementing our Core Four Programs: Mobile Meals, Hygiene Heroes, Trends to Transition and Warm Winters.
