Opening This Friday, Sept. 18!

No Exit is a gripping four-actor existentialist drama that follows three souls, Vincent (Andrew Chi), Inez (Becca Parsons), and Estelle (Amantha Peterson), as they are ushered into a single room in the afterlife by a mysterious Valet (Ned Kieloch and Brendan Banner). Expecting the physical torment traditionally associated with damnation, they instead discover a far more insidious punishment: they are destined to become one another’s eternal tormentors. As their facades crumble and hidden truths emerge, each is forced to confront themselves through the relentless judgment of the others, trapped forever with no hope of escape or redemption.

Audiences can expect a timeless theatrical experience that lingers long after the final curtain, challenging them to reflect on its enduring themes well beyond their visit.

Show dates are Sept. 18, 19, 25 and 26 at 7:30 p.m., and Sept. 20 and 27 at 2 p.m. in the artWORKS Theater at the ARTfactory, 9419 Battle St., Manassas.

Hairspray Opens This Friday at Hylton Performing Arts Center

ARTfactory’s Pied Piper Theatre excitedly presents the modern classic Hairspray, playing from Sept. 18 through 27 at the Hylton Performing Arts Center.

Taking place in Baltimore during the early 1960s, this Tony award-winning show about inclusivity, prejudice, and the freedom to express yourself, follows the tale of Tracy Turnblad as she follows her dream to dance on The Corny Collins show, an act that slowly unravels the town’s exclusivity and segregational mindset.

Dates are Sept. 18, 19, 25, and 26 at 7 p.m., and Sept. 20 and 27 at 2 p.m. in the Gregory Family Theater at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit virginiaartfactory.org/tickets.
