(Woodbridge, VA) – The Northern Virginia Charter Chapter (NVCC) of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) will hold its monthly business meeting on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Bungalow Ale House, 2840 Prince William Parkway. The featured speaker is Dona S. Blackman, certified business coach and owner of the Growth Coach® who will present a program titled: “A Fresh Start” which will provide attendees with what you need to know about getting into business and staying into business covering aspects such as: business plans, goals, organization, systems and processes, marketing, networking, inspection and implementation. Ms. Blackman is a former Fortune 500 Human Resources executive with over 30 years of business experience in industries such as financial services, engineering and behavioral health services. She understands the value of coaching, having successfully coached, guided and led executives and organizational leaders to achieve success through accomplishing corporate objectives and implementing national programs and initiatives. The Chapter meets the third Thursday each month from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Cost for the lunch is $15.00. Open to businesspersons working or living in and around Fairfax and Prince William counties. Guests and prospective members welcome.
