The Northern Virginia Veterans Association (NOVA Veterans) has the privilege of managing Wreaths Across America at Quantico National Cemetery for the third year. This is a time-honored tradition where individuals may participate in laying wreaths at the gravesites of fallen service members. NOVA Veterans is hoping to lay approximately 16,000 wreaths this year and would love to have the community come out and support in many possible ways.

Volunteers are needed to help manage all the wreath layers and traffic (use Signup Genius). There are opportunities for businesses or groups who want to honor the fallen and care for the living through sponsorships; this includes wreath laying participation.

What is most needed is what most people are familiar with – wreath laying at the cemetery. If you cannot be there in person, you can purchase a wreath. There are over 35,000 gravesites at Quantico National Cemetery. The wreath laying will take place on Dec. 17 and 18, 2022. Visit novavets.org for details. Email NOVAVETS.WAA@novavets.org for grave-specific information.
