The newly opened clinics offer comprehensive, personalized mental health services, including therapy, psychiatry, and medication management, to treat a variety of conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and many more. The team of highly trained therapists, board-certified psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and physician assistants are trained in nearly all the evidence-based, effective therapeutic modalities to provide personalized treatment plans for children, adolescents, and adults that address each patient’s unique needs.

“With all that’s going on in the world these days, we know it can seem like your mental health is being bombarded from different angles,” said Dr. Keshia Ross, clinic director at Manassas. “More people are acknowledging that taking care of their mental health is vital to their overall well-being. The Manassas and Falls Church clinics are here to be a community resource partner and premiere mental health provider for those in need of our services.”

Columbia Mental Health connects clients to care in a way that works for their individual needs. With a dedicated team who understands the unique challenges facing this area, Columbia Mental Health provides custom treatment plans for each client with coordinated care across therapy, psychiatry, and medication management. In addition to these services, the organization offers life-changing interventional treatments for depression – innovative alternatives to traditional medication that deliver remarkable results and are not widely available in the region. These include:

  • Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS): TMS is a safe, effective, non-drug treatment for major depression that uses focused magnetic pulses, similar in strength to an MRI, to revitalize underactive areas of the brain involved in regulating mood.
  • Spravato®: Also known as esketamine, this is the first nasal spray approved by the FDA for treating adults with treatment-resistant depression. It works by rapidly altering brain chemistry to provide relief from symptoms such as sadness, hopelessness, and loss of interest in activities.

With locations around the Virginia and the DC metro area, Columbia Mental Health accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare, at many locations, removing financial barriers to care for those who need specialized treatments most. They’ve been proudly supporting and serving families in the region for more than 30 years.
