The Town of Occoquan is honored to announce that Adam Linn, Town Manager and Chief of Police has been accepted into the FBI’s National Command Course (NCC), a prestigious, executive leadership program hosted by the FBI Academy in Quantico.
The FBI National Command Course (NCC) was established to provide executive-level training for leaders of smaller law enforcement agencies, recognizing that 86% of law enforcement agencies in the U.S. have fewer than 50 officers. The course aims to equip these leaders with the same quality of training available to heads of larger agencies.
The NCC brings together senior law enforcement officials from across the country for advanced leadership development, strategic planning, and executive-level instruction. Participation is by invitation only and is considered a significant professional distinction within the law enforcement profession.
“Adam Linn has been both an excellent town manager and an excellent chief of police,” Occoquan Mayor Earnie Porta stated upon learning of Chief Linn’s acceptance into the program. “We are exceptionally proud of how he has led the town staff and police department and are glad he is receiving some of the external recognition he richly deserves.”
Chief Linn is proud to receive this invitation and believes the knowledge and leadership strategies gained through this training will support continued excellence in service to the Occoquan community.
