Occoquan Seeks Sponsorships for RiverFest on June 4 and 5, 2022

The Town of Occoquan is seeking sponsors and vendors for RiverFest & Craft Show, June 4 and 5, 2022.

For over 50 years, Occoquan has hosted the popular Arts & Crafts Show in this historic riverfront town. This spring, the Town is expanding the festival by adding on-the-water activities, a food fest and concert series, and bringing a strong focus on river conservation with Conservation Alley.

With these new and exciting offerings comes an opportunity to involve community partners in this historically well-attended event. Most activities during RiverFest are free to the public, making a sponsor’s contribution even more important.

ARTS & CRAFTS

Like the traditional Fall Arts & Crafts Show, RiverFest will host 200+ vendors along Mill Street. Artisans, crafters, local merchants, and food vendors will line the streets to kick off summer in Occoquan.

CONSERVATION ALLEY

Families and scout troops will enjoy the kid-friendly and educational Jr. Passport program in Conservation Alley in the center of town. Preservation vendors will share information about wildlife, recycling, and the importance of protecting our river ecosystem. Kids won’t want to miss the climbing rock wall and other hands-on art and science activities, perfect for all ages.

RIVER FUN

Those longing to get out on the water will have their opportunity at RiverFest with kayak and stand-up paddleboard races and tours, taking place throughout the weekend on the Occoquan River. Spectators can watch and cheer from the public dock or footbridge.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT

River Mill Park, with its spectacular views of the river, will be the venue for RiverFest concerts, food, and adult beverages. With ample seating, this is the perfect spot to take a break and grab a drink and something tasty.

CORE SPONSORSHIPS

Core sponsorships are an integral part of RiverFest. These opportunities help fund critical areas of the festival and keep out-of-pocket costs low for not only patrons and residents, but for participating vendors. There are five levels of Core Sponsorships available and many benefits to each.

SPOTLIGHT SPONSORSHIPS

Spotlight sponsorships are a unique way for a business to host a specific part of RiverFest. Limited opportunities are available for each category, maximizing a sponsor’s exposure and recognition to the community. Categories include Vendor Breakfast, Kayak & SUP Race, Rock Wall, Food Fest & Concerts, Conservation Alley and Shuttle Sponsorships.

ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES

This year, all patrons will receive a free multipage color booklet to navigate the festival. Advertising in this program enables any sponsor to directly reach the thousands of RiverFest patrons when they’re searching for like businesses.
