Woodbridge, VA June 8, 1:37 p.m. – Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Firefighters responded to the report of a townhouse fire at 12377 Manchester Way in Lake Ridge. Crews arrived within minutes and reported heavy smoke and flames through the roof from the townhouse.
Upon entering the building, fire crews encountered fire engulfing the second floor and attic areas. The fire was under control in approximately 20 minutes and contained to the townhouse of origin. Crews remained on scene for several hours. The blaze is under investigation by the Prince William County Fire Marshal’s Office. American Red Cross was called and assisted the occupants with temporary housing. There were no injuries. Fire and Rescue units from OWL VFD, Dale City VFD, PWCDF&R, City of Manassas responded to the incident.
