One Love is a transformative three-day multi-media art event that is a celebration of life and our diverse artistic community. The event is designed to give artists a platform to perform, share and leverage their art to the betterment of the community, while raising awareness and inspiring hope for the love of all artistic platforms. This event is free and open to the public. 

VMFA on the Road: An Artmobile for the 21st Century

VMFA on the Road is an innovative art experience traveling to Manassas, April 25-April 28. See works of art from the VMFA collection up close and experience one of the nation’s top comprehensive museums as it makes its way across the Commonwealth. The inaugural exhibition includes works by Virginia artists Sally Mann, Benjamin Wigfall, Nell Blaine, and others.

The VMFA Art Mobile will be open for public tours on Thursday, April 25 (3-5 pm), Friday, April 26, (3-9 pm), Saturday, April 27, (10 am -5 pm), and Sunday, April 28, (10am-1 pm).

Juried Art Exhibit

As a part of the One Love festival, The Center for the Arts will host a juried exhibit opening May 19 featuring original artwork from local and regional artists. The exhibit features over 30 local and regional artists (visit center-for-the-arts.org/blog/ for a list of participating artists).

Awards will be announced at the meet the artist reception Friday, April 26, 6:00-9:00 p. m. This event is free and open to the public (9419 Battle St, 1st floor Gallery, Manassas).
