Frederick Markham
Two mediums and two approaches, Fred Markham, artist and teacher, presents landscapes in oils and graphite. Compositions in graphite lend balance to spontaneously produced plein air works. The artist retreats from the confines of city life to explore memories of his childhood home in Kentucky, drawing upon mystery, fear and fascination for each entered landscape.
