The Arts

Prince William Little Theatre presents “A Charlie Brown Christmas” by arrangement with Tams-Witmark, A Concord Theatricals Company. Charlie Brown and the rest of the gang of Peanuts characters created by Charles M. Schulz come to life in this stage adaptation of the beloved television special by Bill Melendez and Lee Mendelson with music by Vince Guaraldi. Tickets available here. The Old Bridge Chamber Orchestra presents “Winter Sounds,” performing Vivaldi’s Winter featuring Sheyna Burt on violin. Also on the program are Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Suite, Rimsky-Korsakov’s Russian Easter Overture, and Anderson’s A Christmas Festival. Tickets are available here. Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater or outfit and come party with Tin Cannon! With music by fan-favorite Buddy Cosmo, prizes for singles and couples for the ugliest sweaters/outfits, a white elephant gift exchange, and snacks and beer! The Christmas Bird Count is an annual citizen science event, part of the national survey led by the National Audubon Society. Now in its 120th year, the Christmas Bird Count captures a snapshot of bird populations in early winter and provides important information about their distribution, and changes over time.
