It’s Wednesday and we’re Over the Hump! Now that we are slowly edging back to “normal,” we’re returning to give you the events happening in the area each weekend. For now, we’ll be here two times a month. So – here’s what’s happening in the greater Prince William area over the next two weekends.

Walking Tours

Enjoy a leisurely stroll through picturesque Historic Downtown Manassas and discover the city’s diverse history. Tours start at the Manassas Museum, weather permitting. Back to School Bash: A Parent Resource Fair

The Prince William Chamber of Commerce is presenting this virtual parent resource fair. There will be virtual booths for child-related business and organizations. Monthly Bird Walk

Look for birds and travel through the uplands to the edge of the floodplain, covering a variety of habitats, including open fields and woodland edges. Derby Day at KO Distilling

Calling all julep lovers: celebrate Derby Day with KO Distilling on Saturday, Sept. 5! This year, the 146th edition of the Kentucky Derby is being held on the first Saturday in September rather than in May. KO is celebrating the Derby with a specialty julep flight, live music by Dakota Bates from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., and 20% off all KO merchandise. Reservations are required, and they are available through OpenTable.com. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older to purchase or consume spirits.
