It’s Wednesday and we’re Over the Hump! We’re here twice a month to give you the events happening in the area each weekend. Fall is here and festivals and Halloween celebrations are everywhere! Here are just a few of the events happening locally the next two weekends.
Fix-It Fair
Keep Prince William Beautiful (KPWB) and the County Solid Waste Division will hold a Fix-It Fair on Saturday. Fix-It events provide the opportunity for members of the community to bring salvageable items for repair and subsequent reuse. Repair work appointments and pre-registration are required. PetOberfest
All are welcome to attend and enjoy free family and pet friendly activities including a pet parade/costume contest, animal rescues, pet-friendly exhibitors, lure course for dogs (some breeds prohibited for safety reasons), children’s entertainment, store discounts, prizes, and much more. Pet photo booth donations will benefit the Prince William SPCA. All pets in attendance must be leashed. Drive Thru Fall Fest
This family fun event is a drive thru at the Piney Branch School parking lot. Completely FREE of charge. The event has a scavenger hunt game, family photo op, decorated cars and more. Saturday, Oct. 17, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. | Piney Branch Elementary School, 8301 Linton Hall Rd., Bristow
Queen’s Cartoonists

BARK Ranger Day
Head to Manassas National Battlefield Park for the launch of their new B.A.R.K. Ranger program. Dogs on leashes welcome! Halloween Baby Goat Yoga
