It’s Wednesday and we’re over the hump! We’re here twice a month to give you the events happening in the area each weekend. Here are just a few of the events happening locally the next two weekends.

Ice Skating

Weather permitting, Stonebridge’s ice rink is open! Pricing starts at $9.00 for kids, seniors, and military. Skate rental and skate aid is also available. Skate sessions are offered in 1.5 hour increments. Reserve your time and pay online at stonebridgeptc.com/skating. Farmers Market

Live Music in January

When there isn’t football, there’s live music at The Farm Brewery at Broad Run. Pump it Up in Pumps

Dance4Life United has created this intermediate workshop to encourage one another to be confident, motivated, and passionate in 2021. This business represents many different cultures coming together as one to create a judgment-free zone to dance, collaborate, support, and promote positivity within the community. Occoquan Chocolate Fest

The Occoquan Chocolate Fest kicks off on Feb. 4 with a Live Valentine’s Market, and runs through Feb. 14. The event offers tours and demonstrations with Occoquan merchants and a special edition Occoquan Chocolate Gift Box is available for purchase. René Dickerson: A Retrospective

The ARTfactory presents the cumulative work of nationally-acclaimed artist René Dickerson in his very first retrospective exhibition. Lucasville School Open House

Celebrate African American History Month at historic Lucasville School during open house weekends in February. Visit the reconstructed 19th century school used by the community of Lucasville.  Learn surprising facts of African American history in Prince William County and throughout the Northern Virginia region. No more than five people will be allowed in the school at one time and masks are required.
