Reptiles with Bobby G’s Pets

Silver Tones Swing Band
This concert is free and open to the public. Join the 18-piece Silver Tones Swing Band as they return for an evening under the stars! Guests are encouraged to bring their dinner and chairs/blankets and dine on the lawn or in the covered pavilion. Some chairs and tables will be provided. The band, the Silver Belles vocal trio, and guest vocalist Aaron Talley will be performing three full sets of great swing music, and there will be plenty of space for dancing! History Hike
Explore the flora and fauna of the city’s historic sites with a different expert each month throughout the season! Connect with nature while learning about the rich history of Manassas. This month, join Virginia Master Naturalist Valerie Huelsman at Cannon Branch Fort and learn about this historic site while discovering the different species of plants and animals that call it home. $10 Adults, ($5 children under 16)

First Friday – “Dog Days of Summer”
August First Friday is all about the dog days of summer. There will be paddling pools, an agility course, pet specific vendors. It’s all about your dog. Streets will be closed, so come out with your dog — after all, it’s their day! Friday, Aug. 5, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. | Historic Downtown Manassas

Longest Drive Competition
“Love to Swing” Dance Night
Boogie-woogie on the way to Swing Dance Night at the ARTfactory. Joe Manning will teach a 30-minute lesson beginning at 7:30 p.m. where the focus will be on East Coast Swing Dance moves like the Jitterbug and the Lindy Hop.
