It’s Wednesday and we’re over the hump! We’re here twice a month to let you know what’s going on in the area each weekend. Here are just a few of the events happening locally over the coming weekends.

Prince William County Fair

The County Fair is back with music, rides, food, midway shows, interactive animal exhibits, home arts demonstrations and more! Visit pwcfair.com for information on daily hours and events. Naturalist Walk: Cicadas and Katydids

Community Health Fair

Discover Occoquan

Celebrate Occoquan businesses with a week of activities including interactive classes and free demonstrations hosted by town merchants, plus a Scavenger Hunt, Taste of Occoquan, and Sip & Shop event! Plus, Trivia Night, our famous Duck Splash, a corn hole tournament, a concert, and more! Visitors are invited to browse the town’s unique shops, boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and cafes to experience all that Occoquan has to offer. Fridays at 5 Summer Concert Series

Kwadwo Birikorang Adjei Premiere Photography Exhibition

The Prince William County Arts Council will hold an exhibition and creative showcase featuring Kwadwo Birikorang Adjei premiere Photography. The exhibition is slated to include Ghanaian drummers and the Tema Choir. The showcase will explore Ghana through rich, vividly colorful photography, documentary, and authentic Ghanaian artifacts. RSVP by Aug. 15, 2022 to (571) 361–3276. Annual Crab Feast

The Prince William County Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. (PWCAC DST) will hold its Annual Crab Feast. Guests will enjoy All-You-Can-Eat Steamed Crabs, scrumptious buffet, small business vendors, cash bar, DJ Dirty Reddz, karaoke, dancing, and more opportunities to support the chapter’s scholarship and community programs. New Dominion Choraliers Concert

The New Dominion Choraliers offer an afternoon of music, dance, and joy! There’s a pre-show performance by students from the McGrath Academy of Irish Dance. Come prepared for a treat for the eyes and ears as NDC is joined by dancers from the McGrath Academy, Dance Etc. School of the Arts and swinging style from the musicians of Legacy Brass. From haunting renditions of familiar folk songs to get-out-of-your-seat-and-swing melodies, the New Dominion Choraliers promise a good time for all.
