Welcome to our new weekly column that will list just a few things to do in the Prince William Region each weekend! We hope that making some fun weekend plans will help you get over the hump that is Wednesday.
If you like yoga, you’ll want to check out one (or both!) of these yoga classes:
Yoga on the Lawn at Rippon Lodge: $5.00 per class, or five classes for $20.00 Enjoy practicing yoga on the lawn with amazing views of the Potomac River and Rippon Lodge. Bring a yoga mat, towel and plenty of water; beginners may want to bring a block and/or strap. Class is held every Saturday through September. Call 703-499-9812 for more info.

Detox to Retox… Beer & Yoga: This monthly (second Saturday) beer and yoga class is a basic 60 minute Vinyasa Flow suitable for beginners and experienced students. $20 per person includes class and a post-yoga pour of any beer on tap.

How about a Sunday afternoon watching the Potomac Nationals take on the Frederick Keys! Enjoy the game and kids day at the ballpark with face painting and free food for kids. Following the game, kids will be able to run from base to base playing catch and collecting autographs! Don’t miss out on a military jersey themed kids game!

AIM Human Performance is offering a Women’s Self-Defense Class taught by first degree black belt and personal trainer Chris Viggiano and his wife, Michelle. They have been teaching this course throughout Northern Virginia for the last 10 years and have helped educate many women on how to avoid becoming a victim. Cost is $50 per person.
