It’s Wednesday and we’re Over the Hump! That means we’re looking forward to weekend events in Prince William, Manassas and Manassas Park!

Halloween Events

The Manassas Park Community Center is putting a twist on pumpkin picking! In this event, kids (age 5-11) will jump into the pool and pick out a pumpkin. After some swim time, they’ll get to decorate it and take it home to add some Halloween flair to your home. Pre-registration is required. Friday, Oct. 25, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. | Manassas Park Community Center, 99 Adams Street, Manassas Park

Join Bull Run Mountain Conservancy for a non-scary night hike on the Bull Run Mountains! A guide will lead you along the trail where you meet native “wildlife” that perform natural history skits. There is a new cast of animals each year, so don’t miss it!  Enjoy face painting, Halloween snacks, hot cider, a bonfire, and live music. Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. | Bull Run Mountain Conservancy, 17405 Beverley Mill Drive, Broad Run

Looking for a frighteningly fun Halloween Party? Look no further than Brew Republic’s fourth annual Halloween Costume & ScARyOkE Party in the taproom. They’ll have beer that goes bump in the night, ghoulish Halloween-themed food, scary Karaoke music, ghastly games, and major awards for the best costumes (by popular vote of course). Friday, Oct. 25, 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. | Brew Republic Bierwerks, 15201 Potomac Town Place, Woodbridge

Spirits & Spirits is a brand-new event that features a full day of free activities for everyone, including kids’ activities, a costume parade, magic show, haunted maze, and a Spirit Garden with all your favorite beverages! Saturday, Oct. 26, 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. | Historic Occoquan

Head over to Cokesbury United Methodist Church for the 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat Halloween event! This event provides a safe family environment for trick or treaters with candy handouts and bouncy house! Costumes are encouraged! Sunday, Oct. 27, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. | Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 14806 Blackburn Road, Woodbridge
