Overnight closures are scheduled to occur on the ramps from westbound I-66 to Chain Bridge Road (Route 123) from 11:30 p. m. to 4:00 a. m. on Tuesday, July 11 and Wednesday, July 12. The ramp closures are needed for crews to implement traffic shifts associated with the Transform 66 Outside the Beltway project.
Westbound I-66 travelers trying to access Route 123 will be detoured to the U.S. Route 50 interchange. Traffic will exit onto eastbound U.S. Route 50 then make a left-hand exit onto eastbound I-66 back toward Route 123.
