The Virginia Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (VIAAA) has named Brad Qualls, director of student activities at Patriot High School, Athletic Administrator of the Year. Qualls has been the director of student activities since the school opened in 2011.
Dr. Michael Bishop, principal of Patriot, shared, “He models integrity and demonstrates professionalism in everything that he does. He is a man of outstanding character, and he takes pride in our students’ accomplishments as Pioneers.”
“It is a great honor to be recognized for this award and I share it with the many hard-working individuals in Prince William County and Virginia. The DSAs, my co-workers, coaches, students, and parents that I interact with, along with my family, have helped me and the program at Patriot enjoy success. I credit this award to all of our joint efforts in making my job as a director of student activities an enjoyable one,” said Qualls.
Qualls will be honored on March 23 at the 2018 VIAAA State Conference in Roanoke.
The VIAAA is a professional organization for athletic administrators in both public and private schools in Virginia.
