MEGA Networking Event – Spring

Level up your business with the Prince William Chamber of Commerce. Digital Kindness Event

Osbourn High School PTSA will host a Create with Kindness program for Manassas families, made possible by National PTA and TikTok. Families will participate in conversations about digital kindness, responsibility and safety, as well as TikTok’s parental controls. Families will also engage with a student panel and learn about their online experiences. Middle school and high school parents, guardians and teens are the suggested audience for this event. 8th Annual Rise Against Hunger

Help fight hunger both locally and internationally!  Lutheran Church of the Covenant and Woodbridge Rotary Club are hosting the 8th Annual Rise Against Hunger packaging event.  Lots of volunteers are needed to help set up, pack meals and clean up – the goal is to package 30,000 meals.  Volunteers are also asked to bring non-perishable foods that day for the families at Neabsco Elementary.  Please visit bit.ly/3JYkln6 to sign up and donate. 2023 Spring Conference – Prince William County Green Business Council

A full day conference with speakers from PWC government, environmental sessions, local exhibitors and a networking lunch. Topics for breakout sessions include business recycling, managing waste and liability, financial advantages of environmental sustainability, environmental investing, environmental philanthropy and more! Blood Drive at Sweeney Barn

The Sweeney Barn will host a blood drive in partnership with the American Red Cross. The event is open to all residents who wish to donate blood and help support a good cause. Volunteers can sign up to donate blood at the Sweeney Barn blood drive by clicking here. One Community Social Services Grand Re-Opening

One Community Social Services is proud to announce a new location for their donation center, which provides essential items to newly resettled refugees. These items include clothing, diapers, mattresses, furniture, and more! Volunteers are on site to assist families and provide translation services as needed. Lake Ridge Toastmasters Open House

The Lake Ridge Toastmasters has been helping the Woodbridge community improve their public speaking and leadership skills for over 30 years!  The Spring Fling Open House will be a Hybrid Event: in-person at the Tall Oaks Community Center, or email contact-8913@toastmastersclubs.org for the Zoom link. The Breaking Cycles Women’s Conference 2023

Carried To Full Term announced its first annual Women’s Conference, the “Breaking Cycles Women’s Conference 2023.” Dedicated to empowering women to explore healing and break cycles, by helping women attend to pain and cyclical patterns created by past trauma, the event will convene empowering leaders on the frontline of advocating for women’s health and wellness, driving social progress, and using their unique platforms to create meaningful change. The ‘Breaking Cycles Women’s Conference’ will convene a diverse range of industry leaders from the worlds of business, media, leadership, therapy, health, wealth, and more. Valor Awards

The Prince William Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 2023 Valor Awards at the Hylton Performing Arts Center. The annual event recognizes police, fire, and rescue workers for their courageous and often life-saving actions. Recipients are nominated by their chiefs and selected by a committee of their peers and members of the business community. The free event is open to the community. Register to attend here. Potomac District Community Town Hall

Potomac District Supervisor Andrea Bailey will host a two-hour town meeting to allow local residents to discuss various topics related to the community, including public safety, economic development, social services, transportation, and public works. Residents will have ample time to share their thoughts and concerns on a wide range of issues. Supervisor Bailey will be in attendance to listen to residents’ feedback and answer questions about the topics being discussed.
