Weekly Manassas Netwalking
What better way to end the work week than a refreshing walk while networking! Or a NETWALK on Friday mornings. Meet at the Wellington Community Pool parking lot, park by the tennis courts. Community Safety Town Hall

Veteran and Military Spouse Hiring Event

Amazon is hosting a recruitment event for military veterans, transitioning service members, and their spouses at the Farm Brew LIVE campus. If you want to learn more about the nation’s second largest employer, register to attend here. Amazon representatives from across the country will be there looking for engineers, developers, shoppers, and delivery experts, with an added Northern Virginia emphasis on veterans and spouses with security clearances. Tech Help at the Library

The library offers one-on-one 20 minutes sessions with a library staff member using your device or one of their Public Access Computers. Please bring your logins and passwords, power cords and cables (if you are bringing your device). You can get help with accessing digital library resources, creating and managing email accounts, internet and social media basics, setting up your new electronic device, and basic troubleshooting. Community Back-to-School Events

The Prince William County Community Foundation is sponsoring this two-day event. Get your children vaccinated and pick up some school supplies! Vaccinations will be held at both Unity Braxton Middle School, 10100 Lomond Drive, Manassas and Freedom High School, 15201 Neabsco Mills Road, Woodbridge on Friday, Aug. 11, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The back-to-school event continues at Freedom High School on Saturday, Aug. 12, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Dumfries Hot Spot Cleanup

Join the Town of Dumfries at their “Hot Spot” Cleanup. Solarize Virginia Webinar

Prince William County has partnered with the Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP) to bring Solarize NOVA to county residents. The Solarize Virginia program in Northern Virginia helps people navigate the complexities of going solar and makes solar installation more accessible to consumers. Community Health Fair

Saved Hands Foundation is excited to advertise their upcoming Community Health Fair event. At this event there is an opportunity for families to visit each health care vendor before receiving free backpacks and supplies. They supplied over 200 families last year and their goal this year is to provide 300 families with health care information and school supplies. 8th Annual Northern Virginia Regional Elected Leaders Summit
