The Prince William Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the nominees for their 2017 Business Awards. This year 81 nominations were received with 57 member businesses and not-for-profit organizations being recognized. Winners will be announced at the Chamber’s Business Awards Dinner on Tuesday, February 28 from 6:00-9:00 p. m. at Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas. The awards are sponsored by Northern Virginia Community College. James MacGregor, Publisher of the Washington Business Journal, will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Just added: the winners of the Agnes L. Colgan Community Service Awards will be announced during the Chamber’s Business Awards.
This year will be the second year that the Charles J. Colgan Visionary Award, sponsored by Vanderpool, Frostick & Nishanian, PC will be given out. Named for Virginia’s beloved longest-serving statesman, the award honors an individual who has demonstrated extraordinary leadership, including but not limited to their own organization. Like Senator Colgan, the individual should be known as an innovator, a great partner, a visionary and an advocate for their community and beyond.
