Chuck Colgan lived by a simple set of rules known as Chuck Colgan’s Top Ten. All nominees should be an individual who live in the same way and work to help the Prince William Community thrive.
Chuck Colgan’s Top Ten
- There is no such word as can’t.
- A quitter never wins and a winner never quits.
- A smile is like a business card, it only works if you give it away.
- Always be worth more than you are being paid.
- Find something you love to do, then find a way to get paid for doing it.
- The best way to defeat your enemy is to make him your friend.
- Nine out of ten things you worry about never happen.
- When you’re getting ahead in life, make sure you reach out and give someone a hand up.
- Live your life in such a way that if someone speaks ill of you, no one will believe them.
And number 10 – Always ask yourself….. Am I doing the right thing?
