In observance of Black History Month, the Prince William County Black History Committee will host a live virtual event on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. discussing black health and wellness – which is this year’s national theme.

Scheduled to appear on the panel are Nahee Williams McDonald, DDS, PC, of Precious Smiles of Virginia Pediatric Dentistry; Aminah Jones, MD, a family and lifestyle medicine physician; Thesha Cowart, Art Square, Jr., and Laurie Wilson of Marriage and Family Therapy Solutions, LLC. Moderators for the panel will be Keona Palmer, Prince William County Black History Committee Vice-Chair, and Byron Jenkins, Prince William County Black History Committee Chair. The panel will answer questions in real-time as well as questions previously submitted.

The community is invited to participate in this event in two ways: submit any health questions ahead of time or submit them during the livestream. Submit questions ahead of time for the professionals to address to PWCBHC@pwcgov.org. Questions may also be submitted during the livestream.
