Prince William County Dogs to Host a Dog Walk on April 26

11043335_913728715325642_3778221819895724313_oMarch 29, 2015 Prince William, VA- 4th Annual Dogs Walk for a Dog Park – Prince William County Dogs to Host a Dog Walk on Sunday, April 26, 2015.     

Prince William County Dogs, a community support group that raised money to build the K9 Gunner Memorial dog park in Lake Ridge, is partnering with the Prince William Parks & Recreation Department, the Prince William Trails and Streams Coalition, and Lake Ridge Parks & Recreation Association for a Dog Walk fundraiser scheduled for April 26 at 12:00 noon in Lake Ridge Park.  Along with the walk, there will be a raffle, contests, prizes, music, concessions and businesses selling items for dogs and their humans. Participants can pre-register at www.pwcdogs.com/events.  Pre-registration begins at 11:30 a.m.  The fee for the walk is $10.00 per dog.

The walk is approximately 3 miles and will start and end in Lake Ridge Park which is located at  12350 Cottonmill Dr Woodbridge, VA 22192. .  Route includes both natural surface trails along the Occoquan Reservoir and sidewalks along Lake Ridge streets.  For more information or to volunteer at the walk, please contact Cindy at info@pwcdogs.com.

Prince William County Dogs supports the improvements to the dog park through fundraisers and donations. The K9 Gunner Memorial Dog Park is located at 13000 Minnieville Road in Woodbridge.
