It is once again time to look at a new set of market statistics. Using data provided by Bright MLS, SmartCharts generates stats that give readers a valuable overview of the current housing market.
Four hundred seventy-eight houses were sold in March, a significant drop of 33.70% from March 2022. The number of new listings fell by 41.76% in March 2023, from 953 in 2022 to 555. In 2023, there were 406 active listings on the market as opposed to 276 in 2022, a 47.10% increase. The median sales price of residences increased by 1.56% to $520,000 from $512,000 the previous year. Finally, the average number of days on the market rose from nine in 2022 to 21 in 2023.
