Prince William Historic Preservation Virtual Lecture Series Highlights County History

The Prince William County Historic Preservation Division is bringing back its annual lecture series slightly differently this year. Historic Preservation is conducting the monthly lectures virtually, beginning on Jan. 28. Guests can sign up for these free lectures online here.

This year’s topics cover a wide variety of Prince William County and American history:
  • Jan. 28: Kevin Pawlak, “Ben Lomond, Buffalo, and the Assassination of a President”
  • Feb. 25: Marion Ransell Cohen, “The Story of Jennie Dean”
  • March 25: John Hennessy, “An End to Innocence: The First Manassas Campaign”
  • April 22: Dan Paterson, “James Longstreet After the Civil War: The Controversy Explained”
