Colleen Quintana, owner of The Woodhouse Day Spa in Gainesville, has been nominated for the Prince William Living Influential Women Award for her deep commitment to community wellness, support for veterans, and service-driven leadership.
According to her nominator, Colleen is “deeply committed to supporting her local community through a variety of civic and charitable efforts.” Through her business, she has contributed time, services, and resources to numerous nonprofit organizations, including Boxes of Basics, where she has helped provide essential items to families in need.
Colleen has also volunteered with Willing Warriors in Haymarket, offering free massages to service members and their caregivers. Her nominator noted that this work demonstrates “a heartfelt commitment to the well-being of veterans and their families.” In addition, she regularly supports fundraising efforts for organizations such as Heroes Bridge and the Private Veterans Club by donating services and gift items for silent auctions.
Beyond philanthropy, Colleen’s nomination highlights her impact on individuals and families navigating health challenges. She works closely with people living with dementia and their caregivers, providing services that promote both physical comfort and emotional resilience. She has also supported military service members working to regain mobility after years of service and athletes recovering from injury, in collaboration with physical therapists.
Her influence extends to workforce development and mentorship. Colleen invests in her employees by offering continuing education opportunities and helping them grow their client base, building long-term careers rather than short-term jobs. As her nominator shared, “Through her leadership, Colleen inspires others to give back, creating a ripple effect of service and generosity in Greater Prince William.”
On a personal level, Colleen’s impact is felt through the way she shares knowledge and encouragement. One nominator reflected that conversations with her “have inspired me to prioritize my own well-being and to approach life with greater balance and positivity,” noting that her influence goes far beyond her business.
Colleen Quintana is nominated for the Prince William Living Influential Women Award because of her consistent dedication to wellness, her support of veterans and vulnerable populations, and her leadership in using business as a force for community good.
