Prince William Living magazine wins 2012 Seefeldt Award, Business Supporter of the Arts
Manassas, Va. – May 7, 2012
Prince William Living Inc. has been named the 2012 winner of the Seefeldt Award for Arts Excellence. Prince William Living Publisher and Editor in Chief Elizabeth Kirkland and President Rebecca Barnes were presented the award by Tracee Wilkins of NBC4 and Bob Madigan of WTOP during the Arts Alive Festival, which was held at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas on Sunday, May 6.
“Although a relatively young business, the magazine is already making a huge contribution to our community and its image,” said Kathy Bentz, Prince William County Arts liason. “Prince William Living is our community’s first monthly lifestyle magazine. It focuses on positive aspects of our community that are often overlooked. It provides a forum for in-depth articles to explore local businesses, events and charities. This publication showcases the best of our community and highlights our brand as great place to live, work, play and retire!”
Prince William Living’s mission is to be a resource for government, economic development and tourism and to promote quality of life, volunteerism and the arts in Prince William County and Greater Manassas. Prince William Living supports and promotes the arts, regularly covering artists, musicians, writers and others in the magazine’s “On a High Note” department.The Kathleen Seefeldt Annual Arts Award is given to a person, group or business that supports the arts in the local community.
