Prince William County Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism has announced the schedule of hiring events in preparation for the 2019 summer season.
Open interviews will are being held for all available positions at SplashDown Waterpark on Saturday, March 2 at Stonewall Jackson High School and on Saturday, March 9 at Sinclair Elementary School. Both of these hiring events will begin at 9:00 a. m.
Hiring events for lifeguarding positions for all of the County’s pools and waterparks are schedule at multiple locations on March 6, March 14, March 27, and April 15.
“Each summer we hire hundreds of talented seasonal staff who ensure visitors have a fun and safe time in our pools and waterparks,” says Brent Heavner of the Prince William County Department of Parks Recreation and Tourism.
The Department of Parks and Recreation offers free training for seasonal staff, as well as flexible hours, a variety of available positions, and numerous possible work locations.
“Colleges and employers value the skills that our seasonal employees develop while working with us, so our pools and waterparks are an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking their first job,” says Heavner. “We also have seasonal employees who have retired from their first career who enjoy spending their summers helping others enjoy the incredible recreation opportunities available here in Prince William County.”
