The Prince William Public Library System (PWPLS) offers a number of programs throughout the year for all ages including families, children, teens and adults. PWPLS would like to highlight some of those programs and events below. Please visit our website (pwcgov.org/library) to learn more about all of the events offered for the month.
Bull Run Regional Library will be closed December 4 – 18, and possibly into the week after, for carpet replacement. Visit pwcgov.org/library for up-to-date information on Bull Run’s reopening date.

Two special sales the first weekend in December will make your holiday shopping a breeze! Haymarket Gainesville’s sale will feature local crafters, while Montclair’s Saturday sale will feature “like new” editions at special prices, perfect for gift giving. Click here for specific dates and times.

Not only do we have Launchpad tablets for kids, but we now have them for adults! Interactive, pre-loaded apps help boost grammar and spelling skills in ESOL and adult literacy students.

A modular layout of trains demonstrating the latest technology will run throughout the weekend.
At Montclair on Saturday, December 10, from 1:00 – 4:00 p. m., you’ll embrace the creative and enlightening process of making collaged cards that represent aspects of your personality, or Soul. Then learn how to use your cards for self-discovery. For adults; first come, first served.

Bring your Santa hats to Central Library on Saturday, December 10, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.  Revel in an afternoon of holiday tunes and enjoy light refreshments after the concert. All ages; drop in.
Come to Potomac Library on Saturday, December 17, at 2:00 p. m. for a lively, interactive presentation of the classic Dickens story. All ages; drop in.
