The Prince William Public Library System (PWPLS) offers a number of programs throughout the year for all ages including families, children, teens and adults. PWL PWPLS would like to highlight some of those programs and events below. Please visit our website (www.pwcgov.org/library) to learn more about all of the events offered for the month.
Systemwide:
Sunday, December 20 – closed the Sunday before Christmas
Wednesday, December 23 – close at 5:00 p.m.
Thursday – Sunday, December 24-27 – closed for the Christmas Holiday
Thursday, December 31 – close at 5:00 p.m.
eBooks and digital magazines are available 24/7!
We’re taking a nap! Most regular children’s events at the full-service branches, such as storytimes, will be on pause between December 20 and January 10. Check our online calendar of events for special events and storytimes at the neighborhood libraries.
Search the Prince William Public Libraries throughout December – there’s an elf in every library! They’re on the move, so come often and help us keep track of them. Take a picture, just the elf, or all of you together! Post your photo with the library’s name and tag us#LibraryElfie on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.
