A public hearing on the interim appointment of a qualified citizen to fill the Chairman-at-Large seat on the Prince William County School Board vacated by Mr. Ryan Sawyers, effective March 7, 2018, will be held shortly after the School Board’s regular meeting begins at 7:00 p. m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. The hearing and meeting will be held at the Kelly Leadership Center.
The School Board is scheduled to vote on this appointment at its regular meeting on April 18, 2018. The citizen appointed will hold office until a special election held on the general election day of November 6, 2018.
No nominee or applicant whose name has not been considered at the public hearing will be appointed as the interim Chairman-at-Large.
