The triennial Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) kicks off Tuesday, March 1, 2022. CHNA is part of an ongoing community health improvement process to engage the community and get real-world information from the people who live, work and play in Prince William County, Stafford County, Fauquier County, Lorton, the Towns of Dumfries, Haymarket, and Occoquan, Manassas City, and Manassas Park.

The survey asks participants questions focusing on a number of different factors that might affect their health such as environmental, social and sociocultural influences.

The joint effort is a collaboration of the Community Healthcare Coalition of Greater Prince William (CHCGPW), Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, UVA Haymarket Medical Center, and UVA Prince William Medical Center. In partnership, the joint coalition will take information collected from the survey responses, along with local statistics and public input to create a community-centered and data-driven approach to identifying community health concerns and future strategies. These issues can then be used to optimize strategic planning, developing best practices for improvement, collaboration and advocacy.

The online survey will be open until March 22, 2022. To make your voice heard, take the online survey at
