The VHS offers 28 full-credit courses and pairs students with highly qualified instructors for a challenging and rewarding online learning experience. Students can work from any location with internet access. Orientation, Standards of Learning tests, and final exams take place in person at designated locations. Daily internet/course access is required to be successful in the VHS summer program.
The summer session will run Monday, June 24–Friday, August 2, simultaneously with the regular summer school session.
Payment is required at the time of enrollment with a credit or debit card via a PayPal or guest account.
Courses offered include math, science, social studies, health and physical education, language arts, world language, and business.
The VHS program enrolls approximately 1,800 students per year, with the summer session drawing the most students. Course information and a video syllabus can be found inside the course catalog under the enrollment link on the VHS website. Tuition information, frequently asked questions, and student testimonial videos are on the program site.
VHS is an award-winning program and has earned National Collegiate Athletic Association approval as a nontraditional course provider.
