On Monday, Jan. 20, Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton (VA-10) will tour the Northern Virginia Family Service’s (NVFS) Hunger Resource Center on its SERVE Campus in Manassas and help serve dinner to NVFS clients.
Northern Virginia Family Service’s breadth, depth and scope of services ensures that everyone in need, at every stage of life, maximizes their potential and fully participates in a thriving community. NVFS’s SERVE Campus houses a variety of programs, including Northern Virginia’s largest shelter with 92 beds for individuals and families, as well as the 8,000 square foot Hunger Resource Center (HRC), which serves 600 families per month and nearly 9,000 unique individuals per year.
