Prince William County will host a public meeting for citizens to share their perspectives regarding rural preservation in Prince William County. The purpose of the meeting is to create a vision and plans for implementing recommendations from the Rural Preservation Study that will help the county accomplish that vision. The vision and recommendations will ultimately be presented to the Board of County Supervisors for consideration as part of the recommended updates to the county’s Comprehensive Plan.

The meeting will be held on Monday, June 24, from 5:00-8:00 p. m. at the Development Services Building, 5 County Complex Court, Woodbridge. If you plan to attend, please email the Planning Office at [email protected] with a response of “Will Attend” or “May Attend.” This will help with staffing and seating needs.

Public participation and citizen engagement are essential to Prince William County’s continued success as a “community of choice” where families and individuals choose to live, and businesses choose to locate. The Planning Office encourages public participation and citizen engagement to shape the county’s vision for rural preservation.
